Meet the Team
Jeff Kennedy
FOUNDER / CEO
After almost 30 years at the intersection of brokerages and ad technology, Jeff realized that there is often a gap between what consultants promise, and what they provide. He created MAVERIX to change that. Jeff has spent over a decade creating key relationships and gaining industry knowledge, focusing on building trust and mutual respect with both the brokerage and proptech communities. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Sales/Partnerships for a large national membership organization, working as a liaison between 135,000 agents and the technology companies that serve them.
In addition to his MAVERIX role, he also serves as a strategic advisor to Second Century Ventures, the strategic investment arm of the National Association of Realtors. He has earned a reputation for helping proptech companies navigate product-market fit, driving adoption within brokerages, and getting results quickly.
Jeff focuses on connecting the right people at the right time, navigating a nuanced industry, and finding opportunities that others miss. He was recently named a RISMedia Real Estate Newsmaker-Influencer, recognizing leaders who drive meaningful change across the industry.
Kevin Van Eck
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Kevin leads the brokerage division at MAVERIX. Most recently, he served as President of Affiliate Strategy at Christie's International Real Estate and @properties, leading technology integration, agent performance, and growth across domestic and international markets. His career spans every level of the industry, from agent and performance coach to managing broker and executive leadership.
This hands-on experience gives him a perspective most advisors don't have. Kevin understands how brokerages make decisions and what it takes to drive results across an organization. He is a HousingWire Vanguard and Swanepoel Power 200 recipient. A recognized voice in brokerage innovation, Kevin is a frequent speaker on technology adoption, brokerage transformation, and agent productivity, with features in Inman, RISMedia, and Fox Business News.
At MAVERIX, he works with brokerage leaders on strategic growth, revenue optimization, digital transformation, operational efficiency, and leadership development.
Jeff Corbett
EXECUTIVE ADVISOR, GROWTH + STRATEGY
Jeff Corbett is a consultant, analyst, and entrepreneur with 27 years of experience across real estate, mortgage, and technology. He has founded and led multiple ventures throughout his career, with expertise spanning business strategy, revenue modeling, marketing, and market analysis.
At AcreTrader, he led brokerage operations and growth from launch to a 10-state footprint, generating over $1M in GCI within 15 months. As Chief Revenue Officer at Better Real Estate, he helped build the national brokerage to more than $2.7M in annualized revenue within 14 months. With BoomTown, he led the expansion of enterprise brokerage offerings across product, sales, and marketing. He also served as a Director at Moderne Ventures, where he helped evaluate and support 13 proptech companies that went on to achieve acquisitions or IPOs.
At MAVERIX, Jeff works directly with founders and executive teams on revenue operations, systems integration, and market expansion. Jeff doesn't just understand the business. He's built it, scaled it, and done it across every part of the industry.
Drew Kennedy
STRATEGIC ADVISOR
Drew has spent his career on the technology side of real estate, helping proptech companies grow from early traction to enterprise scale. He knows the product, the sales cycle, and where the gap between them usually lives. Previously, Drew held business development roles at Cloze and Adwerx.
At MAVERIX, he works across proptech, go-to-market strategy, and industry alignment. He helps leadership teams bring structure to complex problems and turn strategy into decisions that survive contact with reality.
